Gardening, Chickens & Hobby Farm Life
It was a productive week at the end of June here at our little hobby farm! Monday morning was the last round of butchering, so we now have 522 pounds of chicken to last us until next year. We spent much of the week pulling up invasive weeds in different areas, but we made sure to leave the pollinator-friendly weeds for the bees and butterflies. Today was mowing, yard work, and cleaning out the chicken coop. The vegetable garden is coming along, and we're all going to sleep well tonight!
