My Camping Favorites

Here's a few more pictures of my favorite things from our camping trip: hubby 😍, the bluffs, exploring nature with our boys, campfire coffee, and outdoor exercise = happiness!  Can't wait to go back next month!!

Camping Interests

We all enjoy different aspects of camping.  Dan likes reading by the fire, Sam likes swimming at the pool, and the twins like mini-golfing best!  My favorite part is hiking, and Eric rocks campfire cooking.  We all love hanging out at the river! 🏞️

Twins' 14th Birthday

Tom & Troy are 14 today!  We're celebrating their birthday at the campground.  They're growing up fast, but they're still boyish enough to make life fun! 💛💚

First Day of Camping

It's a bit cloudy & rainy, but the temperature has been perfect for hiking the bluffs this morning.  The boys were getting nostalgic during the hike.  I love that they enjoy camping as much as we do! ❤️

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day, my love!  I couldn't have asked for a better dad for our six kids.  Thank you for taking us camping!  Looking forward to the next few days!!

Chicken Butchering

This morning was the first time the twins helped us with chicken butchering!  They had fun with it! 😄 By the time we finish butchering next week, we should have over 400 lbs. of chicken meat, in addition to the lamb we butchered this past winter.  It should be enough meat to last us a year.  Great job, boys!!
