Christy, Jackson, Dan & the twins worked all day to build some compost bins for me! 😍 Now, we can create nutrient-rich, organic compost instead of just tossing everything onto the mound down in the south field like we were doing before. I love all my hard-working kids!! They make life out here better and better!!
My kids are testing out making labels for my vegetable gardens with their 3-D printer! I love them! 😃
My goofy boys at the coffeehouse with friends! I love that they get together with other Christians their age to discuss life, even though youth group is over for the season.
Sam has graduated high school and is working full-time at Zumbrota Ford! He loves his job! He's hard-working, resourceful, and has excellent leadership & communication skills. We're excited to see what the future holds for him! ❤️

A mother’s heart is wider than the universe
For consider all it holds –
The past, the present, hope for the future
Nestled safe and secure within its folds.
A mother’s heart is larger than the mountains
For survey all its majesty –
A storehouse full of care and compassion
Of which it has capacity.
A mother’s heart is deeper than the oceans
For contemplate its grace –
Never-ending, depthless mercy
Upon every tear-stained face.
A mother’s heart is God’s gift to all
For search it top to bottom –
Her loving voice speaks to us
With wisdom and with caution.
Eric & I are being promoted to Papa & Nana!! We're SO excited!! Christy and Jackson are moving back up here at the end of May, so we will get all the time we want with our first grandbaby! ❤️
Eric & the boys built more raised garden beds for me this weekend! ❤️ We're putting picket fencing around the top to try and keep the chickens, bunnies, and cats out of the beds. I'm planning on growing carrots, potatoes, and garlic in them. Buttercup squash will be in the garden plot by the chicken run, then the other plot will have tomatoes, peppers, beans, Japanese eggplant, and peas. ☺️
Dan & the twins have had a fun weekend performing in the spring play "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland!" Dan was the Mad Hatter, and the twins were Tweedledee & Tweedledum. 😁
Work & school kept us too busy to cook on St. Patrick's Day, but we're making up for it this weekend! ☘️
Becca has been seeing all sorts of neat things while living in Japan! She's almost at her six-month mark for language school. 💐
The blizzard pummeled our area today, but I'm thankful for a hard-working husband and strong boys who know how to move snow!
My kids reminded me that today is a special day! Thankfully, I had all the basic ingredients. Yum!

We've arrived at Wisconsin Dells to enjoy a few days of water park fun! I didn't get a chance to change into my swimsuit before the picture, but I'm looking forward to reading by the wave pool and forgetting about winter for a while. 😎
