Christy's Commute Move

Christy is renting an apartment with a (girl) friend up in Edina! This will reduce her commute to work from 50 minutes to about 15 minutes, since she works in Eden Prairie. Furniture arrives on Sunday!

I just want to thank my family & friends for all the sweet birthday wishes! All of your love makes turning 45 a little easier. One of my kids told me today: "Hey, mom! You're half-way there!" to which I appropriately responded: "Livin' on a prayer!🎶" 😂

Woodstove Warming

Christy is working from home this morning. It's a bit chillier than it has been! Eric brought in more wood, and we're all enjoying warming up by the fire. It's a good thing we can do most of our school in the living room.🔥💓

65 Chicks

Today begins the grand adventure of raising chicks! We now have 65 of them in the new & improved brooder, which Eric and the kids built over the past few days. The chicks are all cozy, and their little "peeps" of contentment are so sweet! Great job, guys! 🐥💓🐥

Becca's South Heights School

Becca was on the yearbook committee at South Heights this year. The books arrived today! She was in charge of layout & design, and took quite a few of the pictures as well! She is such an artistic soul, with a love for all things creative. 😊

Starting Gate

Garlic scapes are coming up, and some of the chickens are helping clear out the early emerging weeds and grass in one of my garden plots. Spring is ready to go!

Eric's 44th Birthday

This guy's birthday was on April 1st! He doesn't care for cake, so I made him a chocolate cream pie. He had to eat & run since he works tonight. He opened his birthday cards, and had a few fun minutes before he left. Happy Birthday! 💓
