Lark Toys

We stopped at Lark Toys for a bit of fun & ice cream on our way down to Hidden Bluffs!  We're camping for the rest of the week to celebrate the end of our school year.  The weather looks like it is going to be perfect! 😍

Reward for the Worker

Eric took Sam out to eat as a "thank you" for his fantastic attitude while raising & butchering chickens, mowing, and keeping up on chores as he finishes his school year. He's been spending about four hours each evening working at the widows' farm, too. He has a lot going on! ❤️

Love Your Neighbor

The Crafton Crew helped remove weeds at our farmer friends' place this morning.  Also, Sam got a steady summer job at the farm of two widowed sisters, doing yard work and maintenance.  Busy boys this summer!

Country Roads

We took a walk on the country roads behind our house today and discovered why the local crops grow so well! 😂

Surprise!

Eric surprised me by taking the night off work!  We enjoyed an impromptu evening of mini-golf, tasty food, and book shopping. 🥰

Crafton Family Chicken Farm

The Crafton Family Chicken Farm is having a great start to the season! We butchered 363.8 pounds of chicken, our laying hens are back up to almost full daily egg production, the vegetable gardens are all planted, and the fruit trees & berry bushes are all blooming. Fresh rhubarb is ready, too!
