Anniversary & Birthday Celebrations!

Christy & Jackson celebrated their 1st Wedding Anniversary on September 24th, and we celebrated Jackson's birthday on October 1st!  Lots of celebrating going on around here! :-D

Artwork

I'm attempting to revive my artistic skills.  My family took priority over the past 20 years, so I haven't had time for artwork.  It took me about a day and a half to draw and paint these two pieces.  It feels great to create again!

Our Church

I love our beautiful church!  I'm grateful for a caring environment to raise our kids and grow in Christ.  So many people have invested in our family over the past 12 years, and we've enjoyed teaching the little kids for about 10 years now.  Looking forward to another year!  God is good! 💓

School Books

Our school starts next week! This year's focus is world history, cultural geography, and earth science. Sam is completely online, so all his books are digital. Math is online for everyone, also. I'm looking forward to another year of learning with my boys! 📕📘📒📗 😃

25th Silver Wedding "Anniversary Appetizer"

We enjoyed a 25th Silver Wedding "Anniversary Appetizer" in Downtown Northfield last night since we won't be able to get out overnight for a while now that school is about to start.  Our actual anniversary is in October, and we're really looking forward to that trip! 💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓

Sunset & Moonrise

I caught the sun setting and the moon rising within about 45 minutes of each other during my evening walk.  My phone camera didn't really capture the beauty of these celestial bodies, but my heart sure did.
