Growing Gardens
We've had much warmer weather than normal (for June) this year, and it has been a challenge to keep our gardens watered and happy. Everything seems to be doing fairly well, though! In this plot, we have corn, beans, peas, cabbage, greens, peppers, tomatoes, and sunflowers. We have another in-ground garden plot about this size filled with butternut squash, cucumbers, and zucchini. Our raised gardens are brimming with potatoes, carrots, onions, turnips, beets, radishes & culinary herbs. I foresee some good eatin' & cannin'! Here's one of the the gardens after a good soaking this evening:
