What is more inspirational than painting while surrounded by God's beautiful creation? The girls had fun today...until Sam woke up from his nap and demanded to go outside also! ;-)

Practical Playhouse

We bought Christy a new computer for her school in the Fall, and it came with all these great, sturdy boxes! So, she decided that we needed to build a playhouse. She even posted a note on the foyer to call a meeting at 6:00 p.m., Thursday night, to discuss building plans. After a few hours of hard work and creativity, this is what we came up with! We have to give most of the credit to "Designer Daddy", who took the challenge, and constructed something better and more functional than we could have imagined!

Due Date

Here is a picture of our new little blessing at 12 weeks! He (or she!) was very active during the ultrasound, and it was exciting to see the tiny heart beating so rapidly! According to the Technician, my official due date is December 21st, and everything looks great!

Clubber of the Year!

Yesterday was the Awards Ceremony for Master Club. We were all excited, but we didn't know that our little Becca would be the recipient of the prestigious "Clubber of the Year" award! She was chosen because of how well she participated, the work she did in her books, and for having a positive attitude. We are so pleased with Becca and the hard work that she did to earn her trophy!

Memorial Day

Today is a day to remember all of the men and women who have fought and died for our Nation's freedom. So, the girls and Sam dressed up in patriotic red, white, and blue.

Ice Cold Water on a Hot Day

Well, it finally showed signs of Summer last week when it got up to 90 degrees. The kids were hot so we broke out Sam's "Elmo Toddler Water Park". They certainly had A LOT of FUN, but we all soon found out that though the temperature above ground was over 90, the below ground water still thought it was winter, because it was ~~FREEZING~~. Sam was even shivering when we took him inside. All in all, the Elmo mat had a few minor flaws but was still a good 5 bucks worth for me and the whole family.
