School Books

I've been opening boxes of the boys' schoolbooks on this cool, rainy, blustery day. Looking at these books, I'm reminded of what an investment this is in our children. These are only some of the books, for some of the boys. Time to start organizing! School starts September 6th! 📚

Today was pear-picking day! Our fruit trees produced about 500-600 good pears...148 pounds!

My large family, and their growing appetites, have compelled me to up my baking game. These are made with goat's milk and spelt flour this time. 💓

Celebration Date

Off we go on a mid-summer date to celebrate the achievement of a realistic weight-loss goal I set for myself earlier this year. I'm thankful to Trim Healthy Mama for teaching me how to cook to control my blood sugar, and my family for keeping me incredibly active! 💚💜💚
