Dan's 14th Birthday

Dan is 14 today! He still loves ducks, reading, school, volleyball, games, and playing with his brothers. He's a straight-A student, and his favorite subjects are history, geography, Bible & science! Happy Birthday to our thoughtful, caring son! 💙

Sam's 16th Birthday!

Sam is 16 today! We're planning on having his birthday party tomorrow evening. Happy birthday to our hard-working, leadership-oriented son who also knows how to make us laugh! He's the perfect balance of serious and silly! ❤️

Becca's 21st Birthday!

Becca is 21 today!  We're having a Japanese-style birthday party for her tonight, and Christy baked a cake in the shape of sushi! 😍 We're forever grateful to God for blessing us with such a creative, kind, quirky, and caring daughter who is full of fun! 💓

YMCA Christmas for Kids

Working at the YMCA

I got a job at the YMCA!  Training starts next week, when I'll get a name tag.  My boys are there frequently for volleyball, P.E., and swimming, so I figured "Y" not?! 😂 I get to exercise after my shift, I get discounts on memberships and classes, and it's only 8 minutes to work from my house. 👍

Happy Veteran's Day

Happy Veterans Day to all who have served, including My Marine, Eric -- and me!  We had such a wonderful start to our married life serving in the military.  Great memories!

We're celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this week!  We were hoping the kids could get an outdoor picture of us, however, the rain had other plans. We're definitely "maturing" as a couple, but our love for each other is as young as ever! 🥰

Autumn Colors

We took the kids to Big Woods State Park to see the colors before they fade away.  It was a lovely hike! 

Hobby Farm Chores

Sunday funday, after-church chore day!  More wood chopping & hauling, cleaning out garden plots after the frost, adding soft veggies to compost, making the chickens happy, and harvesting our 30 pumpkins!

We're back at St. Croix Campground for a few days!  The colors aren't quite at peak, but we're still enjoying the rivers & woods.  The weather is fantastic! 🍂😃

Minnesota Renaissance Festival

We escaped into a fantasy world at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival yesterday!  Christy & Jackson were celebrating a family birthday, so they didn't come with us this year.  It was such a fun day!  Memory-making at its finest.
