Sunset & Moonrise

I caught the sun setting and the moon rising within about 45 minutes of each other during my evening walk.  My phone camera didn't really capture the beauty of these celestial bodies, but my heart sure did.

Salsa Season

It's the start of salsa season!  Every few days, I'll harvest enough tomatoes to can a couple quarts.  I've been gradually acclimating my family to spicier food.  They don't know it yet, but someday they will be able to tolerate hot salsa. 🤫🍅🔥

Summer Harvest

I've been battling grasshoppers, gophers, and deer, but thankfully my gardens are producing enough to harvest every few days.  We're still waiting on the potatoes, and the garlic got eaten by all the chickens! 🐓🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔

Cabining

We're "cabining" with grandma & grandpa at St. Croix Campground for the next few days.  We'll be hiking, exploring the state park, playing volleyball, swimming, and cooking over the fire.  Gotta make the most of summer while it's still here!
