Floods & Foods

The rains & floods last night did a number on my gardens (and our basement 😒), however, I was able to do a little harvesting after I tried to rescue some of my plants.  The Japanese Ichiban Eggplant is loving this weather!  Time to expand my recipe collection for that veggie! 🍆

Mid-Summer Camping

We're camping over the next few days with all our boys, and the weather is wonderful! 🥾

New Hens, New Eggs

Our new hens are laying these tiny eggs.  They're so cute!  It's normal for young hens, and the eggs will get bigger as the hens mature.  We now have a flock of 30.  We'll be getting more eggs than we ever have! 🥚

King of All Trades

I just have to brag on my hubby a little bit.  He can fix almost anything, and his abilities have made a big difference in our lives!  He fixed our A/C before the heat waves hit, replaced the brakes on Becca's car this weekend (they went out unexpectedly), and has repaired just about every appliance we own.  It's awesome to have, not a jack of all trades, but a King! ❤️

Fourth o' July

Eric put on a good show last night, and we all had fun playing! The local farmers were also launching fireworks.  It was a fantastic night!!  🎇🎆🎇
