Day at the Lake
We had a fantastic afternoon and evening at Jeff and Sue Hanson Moore's lake house today! My girls got to try their hand at water skiing, and they realized it isn't as easy as it looks!
Exploring Minneapolis
I've lived in Minnesota for almost 15 years, and I've never been to Minneapolis...until today. We had a fantastic time playing "tourist", and visiting some of the best attractions in the area! We also checked out the campus of a potential university for our girls. We had a great time visiting with Christy & Becca, and we're praying for guidance and direction as we plan for the future!

Christy & Becca's Service in the Cities
My girls, Christy & Becca, are up in Minneapolis for 9 days serving with BUMP (Bridging Urban Missions Partnership). They're having a wonderful time connecting with kids & families in the twin cities! It warms my heart to see them cheerfully serving others, and letting the light of Christ shine brightly! If anyone would like to follow their activities, here's a link to the BUMP blog, updated daily:

Storm Cleanup
I am so thankful for fantastic friends and neighbors! We were able to clean up all of our storm damage debris. Once this brush pile dries out, we are going to have quite the bonfire!

Life is Better in the Country!
My kids played outside all afternoon and evening. It is so nice to have all of this space out here for them to roam around! They built forts in the woods behind our house, and picked wild raspberries to eat. I'm so thankful they get to experience life out here. Please don't pinch me...I don't want to wake up! :-)
