Easter 2020

We colored eggs and hunted today, since the forecast is calling for a significant snowstorm tomorrow. God gave us a beautiful, warm day today! Now we're ready to snuggle in and enjoy Easter service online in our cozy home tomorrow morning. 💓

April Supermoon

I had completely forgotten there was going to be a supermoon tonight (April 7th)! During my evening walk, I had to run back and get my camera. God gives us these little gifts to lift our spirits during uncertain times. We can rely on His steadfast care, just as we can rely on the moon cycles and changing of seasons ~ Genesis 8:22.

Waiting for Springtime

Today is icy, snowy, and feeling very much like November. Where did our early spring go? I'm desperate for green and growing things. I want to be able to get outside and enjoy it! At least I have pictures from last year (late spring) I can look at to keep from pining away...

Eric's Birthday - Outdoor Fun

Happy birthday (April 1st) to my amazing husband! He is so selfless and generous - always working hard, and giving of his time to God, family & others. He is a fantastic father, and uses his time at home to connect with the kids in lots of fun ways!💓

Spring Break

It has been "business as usual" for our homeschool, even with all of the unprecedented events happening around us. This week is spring break for us, though! The boys are loving their extra time outside!💓

Christy's 19th Birthday

Christy's birthday was low-key, but fun for everyone! She's taking advantage of sleeping in, now that her classes are all online. We've enjoyed having her around more often, and always delight in her company, conversation & cooking! This is one birthday she'll likely remember for a long time. She turned 19 during the COVID-19 crisis. At least she has a sweet kitty to cuddle! 😊

Homemade Goodies

The first batch of homemade cinna-buns from this morning. Hits the spot on a cold, blustery day!

Service to Our Country

Today is Veteran's Day, and it brings back memories of when Eric & I met while we were serving our country at Misawa Air Base, Japan...
